Committed to promoting kayaking courses and community in the Bow Valley! The Bow Valley Kayak Club was formed in the Fall of 2004. The objectives of the club are: To promote the sport of kayaking to all residents of the Bow Valley. To encourage youth participation in the sport. To offer training in safe and fun paddling. To offer high-quality paddle sport events of all types to BVKC members and the general public which will introduce many new paddlers to the sport each year.

PADDLES - must be ATLEAST 3mm thick at the edge of the blades. Blade edges must be covered. PFD'S MUST BE WORN. Kayaks must have no sharp edges, protrusions. Helmets with face protection must be worn. Need a solid roll. All ages. please do read description.

Single admission to one of our pool kayaking sessions. All participants attend these sessions AT THEIR OWN RISK. NON-REFUNDABLE we can transfer you to another session though. These sessions are un-instructed and very casual. Purchase a single admission here, turn up, grab a boat and paddle, have fun there will be regular members there to help you get started.
